Hubbs and I spent today from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. watching the Memorial Services for the three police officers who were killed in Pittsburgh, PA last Saturday. No we don't live in PA, but Pittsburgh has always been a big part of our lives. It is part of "home". Also, at one time hubbs was himself a police officer. My father-in-law was also a police officer for many years and served out the last years of his career as Chief of Police. So something like this really hits home. We didn't know these officers that were killed but we were moved to tears several times today. No family should have to endure this kind of pain. May God be with them.
